CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

  • Spinning

All levels participate together from novice to experienced cyclist in a non competitive environment. Indoor cycling is a low impact cardio exercise which benefits the cardio pulmonary systems of the body. The class is taught by certified Spinning Instructor, Travis, who is an endurance mountain biker clocking 1500 mile trips, 24 Hour Races, BMX, Freestyle, and road races. He has taught Military in Europe, and Police and Security in the United States on Mountain Bike. 

 

  • Cross Fitness Training (Boot Camp)

      A Core Strength and Conditioning Program.

      We have designed our program to elicit as broad an adaptational response as possible. Cross Fitness is not a specialized fitness program but a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competence in each of ten recognized fitness domains. They are Cardiovascular and Respiratory endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy. The Program was developed to enhance an individual’s competency at all physical tasks.

 

·       Satori Yoga

Satori will maximize your yoga practice and guide you to master the secrets of enlightenment. Balance your six senses of mind and body energy, through Hatha, Vinyasa Flow and Kundalini yoga. Uniquely designed to challenge the beginning student or long time participant. A physical series of asanas accompanied with pranayama, Shamanic aura cleansing, “Jah” aromatherapy, Visualization, Chakra balancing, Color therapy, Mantra chanting.

 

  • Sivananda Yoga

 Sivananda, is a non-proprietary form of hatha yoga in which the training focuses on preserving the health and wellness. Since 1976, Yoga has been a way of life for Ursula, who is a certified instructor in the Sivananda tradition. She has also had extensive movement training in classical dance, organic and authentic movement of disciplines in Tai Chi and QuGong.

           

  • Pilates

Pilates improves the mind–body connection, by using Core Stabilization Training, and emphasizing proper breathing, correct spinal and pelvic alignment. Terry, a certified Pilates Instructor, is truly passionate about helping people live fuller lives, giving them the tools to be physically, mentally, and spiritually healthier. At the age of 18 he was offered a professional dance contract eight years with Michael Crawford, Gloria Estefan, Merv Griffin, Carol Channing, and many other talented artists.
